Itinerary
Day 1
Day 1 : Luang Prabang to Nong Khiaw 160 KM

Our first day on the road takes us North to our first stop, Pak Ou then we continue the journey towards Pakmong.  We follow the Nam Ou river before taking a detour to Muang Ngoy which is a small Khamu Village for a real look at Lao life, then we will make our way to our Hotel and overnight stop, in the small town of Nong Khiaw.  Although a small town, Nong Khiaw is also a very popular place.  You will not only enjoy great views, but also a dinner on the river, and a stunning sunset.

Day 2
Day 2 : Nong Khiaw to Udomxai 120 KM

A very early start is needed today, as we first climb to Nong Khiaw viewpoint before breakfast.  Although quite a steep climb, the views are well worth it.  After breakfast we begin our next leg to Udomxai, on a new road which is perfectly smooth with plenty of interesting bends. It passes through many small villages one of which we will visit Ban Nayang (Thai Lue village next to Nam Bak) for another up close look at village life . Back on the bike and through the mountain ranges, all this makes for an interesting ride. On arrival  in Udomxai we will check into the Nam Kat Yorla Pa resort where you can relax or take on some activities. (activities not included)

Day 3
Day 3 : Udomaxi to Pakbaeng 150 KM

An easy day ahead, so a later start is possible, you can relax in the morning at the resort, or we can go to visit the Mekong Elephant Park when we arrive at Pakbaeng.  Back on the  bikes and  off we go through the countryside and its small villages, which is our route to Pakbaeng.  A small, sleepy town on the banks of the Mekong, it has great views of the River. So more time to chill, relax, and enjoy all that is around you.

Day 4
Day 4 : Pakbaeng to Luang Prabang 200 KM

Our last day, and the longest, some nice twisty parts with beautiful countryside to keep the photo opportunities alive, a great days riding ahead.  Nearing the end of the ride we will visit one of our tourist attractions in Luang Prabang, Kuang Si Waterfalls. From there we go to Luang Prabang, and check into our Hotel before taking a sunset cruise on the Mekong, followed by a evening meal together.
