Day 1 – Banlung – Stung Treng Virachey National Park – Campfire (L/D)
Day 2 – Trekking In National Park (B/L/D)
Day 3 –Virachey National Park – Banlung (B/L)
Assemble at the office at 8:00 am and depart to the trek at 8:30 by car, minivan or truck.
Travel north to Veunsai district to take a small boat ride in Sesan river to reach O’Lalai river.
Start walking through various landscapes and patches of forest alternate with rice paddy fields.
Around noon have a delicious lunch at a small farm house.
Arrive at the campsite next to a very nice river around 4:00pm.
Campsite will be set up for the night.
Enjoy the delicious dinner near a campfire.
After breakfast, trek to mainly off beaten track with dense, lush and old jungle where a path is often cut by a machete.
After lunch change the track and loop towards the southwest.
Reach closer to the campsite to a wonderful waterfall. You can cool off your body in this water.
After the delicious dinner start a gentle night trek.
Armed with head torch, spend one hour to trek around our campsite.
After an hour of night walk we return to our campsite
After breakfast cut through the jungle for three hours and reach the village of track
Lunch at the village and observe the daily lives and activities of the local people there.
Take a boat back to Vuernsai and you’ll be transferred back to Banlung.
